Principal Architect
Amitha Madan founded Treelight Design to pursue a quieter, more deliberate kind of architecture: spaces that respond to light, landscape, and the lives unfolding within them. Every project begins with the site itself: its trees, its orientation, its rhythms of shade and sun.
A graduate in architecture with over a decade of practice across residential, retail, and hospitality work, Amitha leads every project from first sketch to final detail. Working closely with clients, she is backed by a studio of architects and interior designers who share her conviction that restraint is a form of generosity.
Her work has been recognised by The D List by Hansgrohe, the Kohler Bold Design Awards, the Institute of Indian Interior Designers, and the Trends Excellence Awards. She continues to lecture and mentor young designers, advocating for an architecture that is timeless rather than trend-driven.
